Hipster Bric a Brac and Trendy Trinkets

I emptied out my storage locker and realized that I have a lot of random things. Childhood memories, 1/2 started or daydream projects I never got around to doing, pieces of ‘art’ I still love but have no where to hang and so on ….

Hoping to sell most of it tomorrow!

BRUCE AT HOME DEPOT!

I finally went to a Home Depot to look around and this was in the first aisle that I turned down. Bruce is my last name.

I really have no idea what I am doing right now in the sense of the construction part.  I own a glue gun and basic tools so I like that I am already a name in the world of construction!

Meet the Arizona Corn Princesses

corn princesses-beforeThose girls just got a make over!

cornprincess2This is one of very few pieces I am taking up North to my little home.

Most of the art coming with me I have picked up in my travels and is often from various Indigenous cultures. Feels suiting.

Day of Thanks for April 27

LEO Jul 23 | Aug 22  If you were a supporting character in a popular TV drama, the producers would be cooking up a spin-off show with you in a starring role. If you were in an indie rock band, you’d be ready to move from performing at 300-seat venues to clubs with an audience capacity of 2,000. If you have always been just an average egocentric romantic like the rest of us, you might be on the verge of becoming a legend in your own mind — in which case it would be time to start selling T-shirts, mugs, and calendars with your image on them. And even if you are none of the above, Leo, I suspect you’re ready to rise to the next level.

On vacation I stated to really appreciate and enjoy Instagram.  I am a late comer to social media but am super happy to have finally arrived. I had no idea there where so many people out there living like me. It feels pretty awesome and I’m excited to join in the conversation.

I don’t know if I see any of that notoriety coming my way but I’ll take the positive vibes. Here’s to being one more hopeful voice out there!

The smallest travelling me, ever

Over the last 20 years I’ve been fortunate to see as much of the world as I have.

Most times when I travel, I shop. I’m a sucker for pretty things and love bringing art home from far away places.

The goal of my 14 day trip through Panama and Costa Rica was to bring home only memories and I am happy to report I did just that.

One small backpack, everything  was used, I stayed on budget and have nothing to declare. Mission accomplished.

Small space living here I come!
