If my memory serves me correctly this was a line in the book Generation X by Douglas Coupland.
I have read a few of his books and have gone to a number of his art shows. He has a really interesting mind.
If you live in Toronto or Vancouver I recommend taking the time to see his work.

Toronto is my closest alliance. Toronto is where I have grown into me.
If you asked me what my great accomplishment in life has been so far, I would say without hesitation, “My relationships.” This city has provided me with the most amazing network of friends and I feel very confident to say that my life is inspiring, energizing and is helping to light fires in the imaginations of those around me. I am going to take the brains, hearts and hands of my Toronto friends and go build up North.
We are about to create a place that will be run by one really awesome benevolent owner.
For the small people in my life who get me to do things I have not yet thought of.
I like that I notice things other people do not. I love that you can met people who like the way you look at the world.
There won’t be anymore Saturday posts introducing new characters. That said since I have decided that the show was completed I have found and made about another 7 characters. I took this photo in an alley way and then found a piece that I made into one bad ass graffiti boy.
When the show has been finalized I will post the information here for anyone reading along in Toronto. The fact that I am this close to having my own art show makes my heart full.
Moving forward the weekends are now going to be spent heading up North to start creating my Glamping Camp Site! Next Saturday will be the first post showing what is going on with this part of my life. Stay tuned!!

This was found by the same friend who found that beautiful African man. She calls him Ghost Face so everyone meet Mr. Ghost Face.
Once people have made it thru the characters with googlie eyes they are going to be asked to pause before entering the next room as the next room all of the characters in there don’t have any thing added to make you see who they are.

Last weekend I finished about 13 of these characters. The first post went up June 1st with the idea of introducing 1 a week but over the last 3 months I took a little break from the whole production so have missed a few Saturdays. Today thou, I am very happy to introduce to you 9 new neighbours!
Dec 7 – This guy loves the fall colours more than anything. He just had a good few weeks in Canada!
Dec 14 – The ghost of Christmas past or future or was it the holy ghost? Either way here is another ghost for the month of December.
Dec 21 – Meet Sadie and Winston. They are my sister’s dogs and I love going home at Christmas to hang out with them. I’ll be Auntie Tanya to pretty much anyone.
Dec 28 – This is your neighbourhood mechanic.
Jan 18 – This is Canada and this year I have resolved to make it a better place to live.
Feb 8 – Warning: Trophy hunting celebration taking place.
Feb 15 – These two are best friends and do pretty much everything together. They even go pee in the middle of the night camping together cause sometimes things are better in twos.
March 15 – This is me and my bike. I am going to start riding again cause my body is dying without it. This is month 4 of taking transit and this is one month too many.
March 22 – This is the inside of a pot. He is going to hang out on the wall peeking thru the bushes at you.
