I don’t want vinyl siding but I will have vinyl siding because its the right thing to do.
I am really not a fan of synthetic fibers.
My “wood house” is going to have lovely hues of Natural Oak if you squint your eyes in the right light.
There will be ‘Starless Night’ blue door.
In the end I am sure it will be beautiful and according to my mom, more importantly it will be easy to maintain.
Fashion or function.
Sometimes much to my dismay function has to win.

You’ve got the right mindset. It is vinyl nasty toxic stuff. Vinyl is maintenance free like a light bulb. There is no way to maintain vinyl, that is why its maintenance free. You’ve just got to throw it away when it starts to deteriorate. An object with maintenance has a higher level of return and reward. Best of luck on your project.
